I just got my grades for this fall semester in undergrad and they boosted up my GPA to finally reach the minimum requirements for PT schools. I requested my transcript to be sent to PTCAS but my college said it will most likely be sent by 1/5 or 1/6. And once PTCAS gets this several days later, will take a loooooooong time to process this update.

Question is, should I e-submit right now and apply to several PT schools that are due Jan or Feb? Will they be able to see the updated grades? I'm being very cautious because with this UPDATED grades, I will reach the bare minimum to apply.

PTCAS recommends you submit and pay. They won't verify or review until you do. You might want to double check the instructions regarding due dates for materials to be at PTCAS for specific programs.
You could see if sending an unofficial transcript (one you print out mail or attach in an email) to the university /program might be helpful. It wouldn't be official though. When in doubt call the school. Many are not in the office this time of year.
You didn't say if this is an academic update or an original application.

I think the best option for you is to e-submit now. PTCAS takes a while to process everthing (mine took over a month before they were sent to schools), so they may not even get to calculating your GPA until around the time your updated grades are in.

Oh, sorry for not being clear. I meant academic update. But thank you both for answering! I've already done this update the day you guys posted. Thanks!

I have a question about e-submitting too...

So I updated my "in-progress" grades from Fall Semester and my transcripts have been mailed as of 12/21. I am done with my pre-reqs for most schools. I would only go ahead and take the last class if I were accepted into the programs during spring/summer semester (spring semester starts at the end of January for me). I am waiting to hear back before I decide to do them.
Here is my question...
Should I e-submit my application with just my updated grades and not include planned courses? I was thinking of just directly contacting the schools and telling them they were in progress. Is that smart?
