cGPA (grade replace) = 3.46
sGPA (grade replace) = 3.38
cGPA = 3.22
sGPA = 3.22
MCAT = 502 (126-124-126-126)

I have about 900 hours of clinical experience (taking care of patients with dementia and cooking for patients with physical limitations, hospital volunteering, and Medical Brigade/mission)

I am applying to ALL DO schools, and have a DO LOR.

Yes! Would not suggest applying to all the schools because of the low MCAT. Make a WAMC thread and make a list.

Submit your application soon and complete secondaries within a week of getting them (earliest i remember was in July)!

Retake the MCAT for max chances but you'll be fine at all but the best DO's. MD is out of the question as I'm sure you know but maybe throw an app at state schools if you're not going to apply again once you're in a DO.

Apply broadly, especially targeting the newest schools. Skip LUCOM.

You may also wish to consider a post-bac (DIY) or SMP.

Doesn't exactly seem like the most accepting place

Off subject, but it's like calling America stupid as a whole for the wierd things Trump says, or the crazy things Bill Clinton did in the 90s, and others ect ect.

Im not sure how the undergrad life is there. But the med school is on its own campus and was very inviting to me and all the other interviewees that were with me.

But I understand not applying there if you are against what there mission statement says. But please don't bash it for what one man said and/or if you've never been there.

Except for his actions directly influence the quality of education that students receive there. A key skill for a physician to have is to accept new evidence and be able to interpret data. New advances are constantly being made to improve well being for the patient. Jerry Falwell's curriculum is teaching students that dinosaurs are 3000 yo and to reject information DESPITE OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE that they are hundreds of millions of years old. I personally wouldn't want a doctor who was trained to ignore facts and that's why I agree with @Goro that OP should apply elsewhere. I'm less worried about the fact that they haven't graduated a class yet.

Again, the med school is separate from the main school. The curriculum is based on science an evidence based methodologies, not biblical teachings.

I've been in healthcare for 10 years in one role or another. I wouldn't of chose this school over others if I wasn't impressed with their facilities and curriculum.

I'm sorry the grade replacement damaged your stats. That said, you defnitely still have a shot this application cycle as the others have said if you apply broadly.

If I were you though, I would give some thought to going after next cycle if you feel you can improve your MCAT score. You could significantly improve your profile with another year of part time coursework, clinical, and a higher MCAT. But again, if you dont feel like going this route, I think its worth a shot this time. I'd also apply to some of the SMPs.

good luck man.

You're too legit to quit.

Pre-gratz in getting in this cycle.

I would strongly consider a SMP. If you did well in that it you would be competitive
