I own a business that I started at the end of high school. It is currently a large business with employees and numerous clients. (Sidenote: This is probably one of the reasons my GPA is low. The time required to run this business definitely took away from my classwork at times.)
I don't know if this should be something to put on an application but I developed a lubricant on my own for the automotive exhaust industry that is getting a patent (Thanks Orgo). It is a more environmentally friendly alternative to the current one that is getting phased out.
