My GPA is 3.97 but the B- in English in High school counting towards college dropped it to 3.92. Think I should explain this or just leave it blank?

Please use the space below to offer the Admissions Committee any information you would like to be taken into consideration regarding your transcripts or MCAT scores.

Should an offer of admission be extended, the location decision for applicants who selected to be considered for both campuses will be made at that time and cannot be changed. This decision will be made in the best interest of the student and the University. If you have any questions about campus location, please email [email protected].

Please provide a brief explanation for your campus location selection.

What about this prompt?

Is this sufficient? I don't really know what to even say

I have no preference for either location.
Do not explain a B-, and most people I interviewed with at KCUMB said no preference

This type of perfectionist thinking is a good way to get screened out.

Having a B- in a single course is not a loss of face or a sign of weakness.

Don't bother mentioning it.

This post in itself should ban you from ever becoming a physician.

There is no reason you need to say this in response to OP's original post. You are putting him/her down. While OP may be a little naive in wanting to explain a B-, that is no basis to tell someone he/she should not be a physician.

Just out of curiosity, how did you do in the CARS section of MCAT??

I get that applying to med school is stressful, but med school itself will be even more stressful, and residency will even top that.

The prompt is asking if you have a preference for KC or Joplin. If no preference, just say that. This isn't Einsteinian physics.
