Hey I am not a reap just yet but I have only gotten 1 interview so far. It was from my state school (where I went to undergrad) so I think they may have done it just because I am from the state. My question is did any of you who reapplied have a school that used a pre-med comittee recieved all of your LOR then made a composite letter? If you did this the first time around did you go through the comitee process again and get a new comitee letter. My school ranks its premed with a scale (1 through 5 I think) and I feel that I can get a better ranking and letter if I do this again. I am also going to get a LOR from my current boss, who is a proffesor at the med school I work at. I guess my question is, is it worth going through this pre-med comitee process again, this means giving them a new resume and interviewing with the advisor and a prof. at my undergrad school (which I have graduated from and so have to travel ~ 1 hour to the school for this). Thanks

You need to focus on items in your application that are high yield - MCAT, if your signature is any indication. I hope you did well on it and improved. Don't worry about a 1-5 scale; rather, work on getting yourself to match the average matriculant: ~3.6/30+ GPA/MCAT, in-depth clinical experience, then possibly some research work.
