Should I include this in the letter of intent?

I have been fortunate enough to have received an acceptance from a med school last week. I am still waiting on another school post-II decision very close to home near my entire support system, whose admissions office said would release decisions next week. Would sending a letter of intent mentioning the other acceptance and how I would choose the one closer to home over the other one make a difference? Is it inappropriate to mention another acceptance in this letter and can this have any negative impact on their decision? The one close to home is my top choice and I've already sent a post-II thank you letter stating this as well.

I don't think you need to include this, just say what makes your preferred school your first choice.
I also see that you have had 10 interviews so you might need to be patient and wait for the post-interview decisions.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!

I didn't get a response after sending the letter of intent to the school post-ii (and I have yet to receive their admissions decision), but I did send an update letter the other day to my dream school that I didn't have an interview invite for and received an II the next day! Thank you again for your help, even if it didn't work for the other school it helped me get an interview from the school I thought I had no chance at.
