Should i pay $1500 to extend kaplan online resources?

So i have already exhausted my higher score guarantee and re-newed my resources online twice. I am retaking the exam in Jan, but my resources online end the first week in december (my exam date is jan 30). I asked if i could just purchase their online FL tests and their section tests, and that is not an option. I feel like i should use that last month to do as many full lengths and section tests online as i can. Should i spend $1500 to renew it??? I don't exactly have that much money but i guess if its really worth it i would try to save up somehow. I just feel like its such a HUGE rip off. I plan on purchasing the AAMC exams, but i just wanted a lot more practice. Suggestions and feedback really appreciated!

Is there any chance that you can start taking the Kaplan full-lengths before your access expires? You can easily buy the AAMC ones, so that's not the issue really. But if there is a chance that you can take as many Kaplan full-lengths + section tests before your access expires, I would do that rather than pay another $1500. That's a LOT especially since you're really just using it for the exams.

There are so many other courses for CBTs that $1500 for a few pratice tests seems expensive. Check out Gold Standard and Berkeley Review for CBTs. Between the two, you can get 17 more CBT exams for $350.

I was wondering about the Berkeley Review CBT exams actually...So I called the main office at Berkeley 2 or 3 weeks ago and the guy on the phone said that they are only planning to sell 3 CBT exams for the self-study group. Is this info still accurate? That would be great if they're selling more!

The Kaplan full lengths in my opinion do not really help that much. The real AAMC tests are quite different. I would recommend that you do all the online quizzes, topical tests, and subject tests for Kaplan and then buy the 8 or so AAMC exams. With 8 AAMC exams and all the online kaplan practice (before it expires) you should be pretty well prepared. I did the same thing, and the 8 AAMC tests are much better gauge of your real score than kaplan's tests.

Considering that the Kaplan material has not helped you on several occasions, I see no reason why you should try it again.
