So I didn't realize that this website had forums, and now that I'm looking at these posts, you guys have amazing scores. I'm not sure if I am doing the right things to prepare. I took the Kaplan course ( a waste of time) and I've been preparing with their online tests and the book.

From looking at the posts, I decided to order Destroyer to brush up my Ochem, but I'm not sure if I should push back my testing date to allow for more studying. The last test I took (1 week ago) put me at an 18. I just want a 19 or 20 bc I have a good GPA (3.84, science major). Anyways, just wondering if I should push back my date, or stick to it.

Also, what do you recommend learning for ochem (for those of you that have taken the test), just memorizing reagents and the main reactions or what?

Well, Kaplan is not a waste of time. Their online stuff is actually good review and if you can nail that, then you will be fine. Destroyer is a great idea for GC and OC, and also BIO and QR. I would order Top Score and Achiever for practice tests and also Schaums or Cliffs for Bio since Kaplan doesnt go into too much detail. If you dont feel comfortable enough yet, then postpone. You should feel pretty confident going into the test. My first time, I had a 17AA and i knew i was gonna bomb it because i wasnt close to ready. I studied and prepared much better the second time and got a 20AA. It sucks that you have to wait 90 days to retake, so only when you feel confident should u take it. Hope this helps. BTW Cliffs and Schaums are only like 12$ on Amazon. I used Schaums.
