So a friend lent me his Examkrackers 101 passages in Verbal Reasoning and was thinking of using it for the DAT RC section, but some people have suggested against that. What do you think?

If not examkrackers, then what else could I use to prepare myself for RC? I took one of the Kaplan DAT practice tests that come with the blue book and scored 20 on RC but I went over the time limit.

If the Verbal Reasoning you are referring to is for the MCAT then I highly suggest you avoid practicing with examkrackers. I have taken the MCAT and the DAT as well as teach both and I can tell you RC and VR are very different. RC tends to focus more on reading a lot of material in a short amount of time and finding the information directly from the passage. The VR has a lot of critical thinking which will rarely help you on the RC section. Stick to practicing on RC passages only. The short VR passages will not prepare you in terms of endurance or skill.

I was talking about the Examkrackers MCAT book. Do you know of any practice book like the Examkrackers one but for the DAT RC? Thanks

Yeah, my friend offered to let me use her book but I decided not to after realizing how different they are.

Just no comparison at all. I wouldn't even see MCATs VR being helpful at all.

But I dunno. There seems like there is zero other sources for practicing RC besides the usual ones we hear about over and over.
