So my story is like this:

I have a bachelors in Bio, 3.5 GPA, and an MCAT of 27, and by the way I'm starting pharmacy school in the fall.

Confused?

So am I.

I finished undergrad in 2002, and at that time I was going the pre-med route, then mostly due to some personal issues, I canceled my applications (after recieving an interview offer) and decided this wasn't for me.

But now after spending some time lurking around on SDN, I am getting a little curious whether I should have just went to that interview, or in the present whether I should reapply.

I am just looking for opinions on this.

Thanks in advance

You need to figure out what your passion is. Do you want to be a pharmacist for the rest of your life? Do you want to be a doctor? Do you want both degrees? I think if you take the time to dig deep and let yourself realize what you are passionate about, the answer to your question will be simple. I know it sounds kind of hokey, and maybe easier said than done, but if you don't take the time NOW to figure out what your passion is, then you might end up in the wrong profession and regret it later.

best of luck

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can really say to you about what you should do or not do. It sounds like you may be a young person who just can't figure out what you want to be when you grow up. And that is fine. There is time to figure out what you heart truely wants to do.

You should try and figure out what your reasons are behind thinking that you want to be a doctor. Why did you choose to go to pharm school? Which field do you think you want to be in? Do you like interacting with people? Where do you see yourself in 10 years, 15 years, 20 years? What motivates you?, etc............

If you hadn't been lurking around SDN, would you still be happy with your decision to start Pharm schools?

There is no easy answer. Don't rush into a rash decision that you will regret for the rest of your life. When do you start Pharm school? Do you still want to do that?

Good luck. Sorry I can't help you but this is unfortunately all on your shoulders.
