Reaction score
120
241 on step 1 (mean 230)
243 on step 2 (mean 242)

Otherwise really solid application (50%ile of class at top 20 school, research, good LOR's, honors in anesthesia rotations)

Should I release my score? My step 2 is barely above average, while step1 is well above average. I don't want it to look like my Step1 was a fluke.

And I have already submitted, so I can ride out the whole process only submitting my scores for ranking purposes. Looking at some top-tier to upper-tier programs (NYU, UW, Stanford, BID, VMU, Cornell).

I'm in a similar situation with scores. Sent both out, we shall see what happens. Two II's already

unrelated, but since you asked earlier and have a private profile that does not accept PM's: I would bring only your CV to the ASA PD meet and greet. It's a madhouse. Nobody is going to take the time to read your PS. Focus your time on programs where you think you'll be a longshot.

You are going to have to release the score eventually and it's not a bad (not even under 50th percentile) score so just release it.

Youre being crazy. At my program, nobody would care.

During interviews, scores arent even released to interviewers until ranking.

We do have step filters, but youre past those.
