I am a DO student. On the USMLE step 1, my score was average, but on step 2 I got a 246/99... My COMLEX level 2 scores are not back yet, but on Level 1, my score was pretty good.. I am applying to both osteopathic and allopathic radiology programs, so I am wondering if I should release my USMLE scores at all since my step 1 scores were not as impressive.

My current plan is to release all scores. Seems like the fair thing to do, and I assume that it won't hurt me all that much. Anyone see it differently?

Thanks for the help!

I would release, because otherwise they will assume the worst.. when you've actually done pretty good.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your comlex step 1 score like? Because i have a decent comlex score and I am trying to figure a few things out myself.
thanks for guidance.

Got ya!~ Someone else got me, so I guess its a vicious circle.

I have a question: why should a DO take USMLE step 2 if you did pretty good on both comlex and usmle step 1? Is it just the super competive specialties like rads.
I got 239 and 646, and wasnt planning on taking usmle again unless I had to.

Thats just it, on USMLE step 1, I got an average score (~216) hence why I went ahead and took both for Step 2. Now I improved my USMLE score quite a bit, but I wonder if that will really make a difference...
