Should I retake CHEM I after I made B?

Hello everyone, My name is Metavee. I am Thai who married with very nice American man here. I am very interested on DO at WCU-COM.

Currently, I am taking some pre-medical courses at CC and I will take some courses at the university next year .

I just finish my final time on this Spring and end up with 4 As (from BIO(L) I, CHEM lab,and Cal1) and I got a B from CHEM I ( lecture) also. I wanted to get an A after I made 91 points on overall score before final test, but I did not do it well on the final. That why I got a B.

My question today is should I retake CHEM I again? Is it important?

Don't. I got a B in chem 1 and a C in chem 2 and stupidly retook chem 1 because it was the other way around. This was a year and a half ago and I am still kicking myself for being a fool.

This confused me until I remembered that DO schools replace your grades when you retake. But think about the numbers. The impact is not going to be significant.

Spend your time and money on something with more return on investiment...like MCAT prep.

I agree with all of them. I think a B on CHEM I is fine for me now. I should concern and take time to other subjects.
