should I retake OAT?

My OAT score last week as shown below:

QR 370
RC 220(2.5%)🙁
Biology 290(39.6%)🙁
GC 360
OG 370
physics 360
TS 350 (87%)
AA 330 (81.5%)

RC and biology score are way below expectation, which I did a lot better at OAT practice tests. Do I need to retake the OAT or just go ahead and apply?

i think its worth retaking
a 220 in RC is really bad, but your other scores are solid
if you can just bring those up, you will get a pretty good score
can i ask, what are those percentages next to ur scores? is that the percentile?

not to be mean, but i really doubt that there is any school out there that would accept a 220 in any area. 290 you could get by on for some schools, but a 220 is simply unacceptable. Retake for sure. and good luck 👍

Should I take Howard Stephen Berg's Maximum Power Speed Reading Course or Evelyn Wood's Reading Dynamics???

I've heard some advice about the RC section, either read the passage first before you hit the questions, or read the questions first before you tackle the passage. Both of these methods don't work for me, I think what really works, is:
Read the first question, and start from the top of the passage, read down till you get your answer, then move on to the next question and so forth. That way you are hitting all the questions and you are reading the passage collaboratively so it's not just plug and chug you get an understanding also of the material.

the fastest way for you to find out if you need to retake is make a list of schools you want to apply to, spend 30 minutes calling them all up, and asking if they have admitted students with stats similar to yours. much faster and more accurate that polling opinions on SDN =)

@ Denzel: wow you're scores are amazing. everything is pretty much amazing. Perhaps you should email the schools up? Maybe they'll look into your English and biology marks?? If they see that you've taken a lot of bio and see that you did well in them..then..yeahh it depends on the school.

I know someone who failed the RC section, and she still she got into the Waterloo optometry school in Canada (which I heard was pretty hard to get into since it is the only English speaking one in Canada).

My question pretty much stands with yours--should I retake the OAT.. my scores aren't nearly as high as yours though

My QR and RC scores is just at average...

Anyway I also have another question (kind of going off topic here). So I did horrible in first year physics (57 D+). Most schools require a C or better, so I am DEFINITELY for sure going to retake the course this year. Do any of you know if they take the scores I received in the OAT into consideration? I am worried.
