Hi everyone

I took PCAT today and it was my 2nd attempt.

Here is my score

Verbal: 33 (392)
Bio: 97 (447)
Reading: 19 (381) I'm a slow reader....
Quantitative Ability: 97 (447)
Chemistry: 99 (463)
Composite: 92 (426)

I think that the overall score is okay... but my verbal and reading scores are horrible
My first PCAT scores for verbal and reading are very similar to my 2nd
I spent almost four months on these two sections to get better grades.
Unfortunately, there was no big change in reading and verbal sections.

I have B.S in Biochem and my GPA is about 3.2~3.3

Should I retake PCAT to get better grade in verbal and reading sections?

Anybody with a 3.0+ GPA and a 80+ PCAT needs to worrying about their chances and start preparing for their interviews.

This will depend on the school. Some schools consider pcat more than others.

Considering this is your second one without much improvement I'm not convinced taking it again would do you much good. If it were me, I'd apply with it and see how it goes. I think it's too late to retake the pcat for this period anyways. I'm going to be honest, your verbal and reading score will hurt you on your application. Anything below 50 tends to send a red flag. However, I wouldn't say your pcat is going to kill all your chances. Try to make up for it with experience, superb essay and interview. Good luck. The perk of applying will be that most schools allow you to meet with a representative to talk about improving your chances for next year. You will be able to receive a definite answer.
