So, this is my score again.

AA-20
TS-21
OG-23
GC-20
BIO-20
QR-20
RC-16
PAT-22

I have really low GPA and sGPA, 3.2 and 3.0 respectively. but this might drop after the
calculation because I have retaken at least 6 classes...
but lucky enough to get good LOR.

I decided I should just give it a shot, so I decided to apply to about 20 schools
wishing to get an interview from at least couple schools.

Thinking the worst case scenario, should I retake the DAT or not?
I'm positive that I can get it upto 21+
now that I know what's my weakness.. RC.

is my DAT score considenred Bad because of RC score or is it still good?
I've checked cutoff for the schools I was going to apply, I had to withdraw
6 schools because they required either 18 minimum or 17 minimum on RC... :/

If you were in my position, would you retake it?
if yes, would you take it in three months from now?
or just wait until this cycle application process is over?

thank you so much guys.
I hope all you guys get a good score on your DAT and make it to Dental school.

There are other factors the schools consider. I would say if you can retake it anytime this month or september do so but if you have to wait post september to take it, then just go with these scores. Some schools compare only dat scores when giving people interviews. So just pray, I guess and you can also contact the schools you want to goto and they will give you some advice as well.

"Is the rc too low for schools or is it fine to apply? (In the same boat as you)"

If it were me I would still apply with that score and if I didn't get accepted I would try again next year. From what I read on other sites, some schools look at RC to determine if they will even consider an application.

Just telling you what I heard, no idea if that is actually how it works.

my score is similar to your.

I'm retaking mine almost 4 months exactly after my first try.

Retake the exam while its still fresh in your head
