Should I retake the DAT? Chances of getting in this cycle?

Hello!

I took my DAT earlier today and got these scores...

Perceptual Ability- 22
Quantitive Reasoning- 21
Reading Comprehension- 23
Biology- 18
General Chemistry- 17
Organic Chemistry- 19
Total Science- 18
Academic Average- 20

My science GPA is currently a 2.9 and my cumulative GPA is a 3.05. I''m a URM and have various EC's and have had a job all throughout college. Do I even have a slight chance of getting in this cycle? Im a TX resident. I am applying to the dental schools here as well as Howard, Meharry, USC, Nova and NYU. What are my chances? 😕

Apply for a Masters program or postbach program. It's either that or score high on the DAT so you can be considered competitive. I had to work throughout college, and it is really difficult maintaining a full time job and full time school at the same time. Good Luck on your application inshallah it goes well for you! 👍
