Hi guyz so here is my DAT score:

PAT 17
QR 19
RC 19
BIO 22
GC 24
OC 22
TS 23
AA 21

I am a Canadian student and I am studying in the University of British Columbia right now. I am thinking of applying to some American dental schools like NYU, Boston, University of Southern California, Loma Linda and University of Pacific. I just want your guyz input on if I should retake the DAT? Plus is there any school you guyz recommend Canadians to apply to? Would love your guyz input🙂 Oh yah, i dont know how to calculate GPA but my average for undergrad is 78%.

Congratulations! Those scores are more than enough to get into a number of American schools. The American schools look strongly at the science GPA's so make sure you get some help calculating it correctly.

Before applying always best to contact the schools you are interested in attending directly with your stats and ask them directly.

Again job well done, I just love those science scores WOW

You should be set as far as the DAT goes, congrats on doing so well!

I think you listed most of the schools that are more "international friendly." I know few Canadians attending Buffalo, so you might want to check it out. It's generally known to be in state friendly, but worth checking out, no doubt.
And your scores are fine! Your PAT might be on the lower side but it's higher than most schools' minimum requirement (some schools don't even have a minimum) so nothing I'd worry about.

Hey, I'm Canadian student too. Do you know if University of Southern California, and Loma Linda are out of state friendly? And isn't Loma a religious school? Would they accept non-religious applicants? 🙂
