should I retake the DAT?

I just took the DAT few days ago and these are my stats

PAT - 19
QR - 17 very disappointing.. 🙁
RC - 18 didn't do too well here either..
Bio - 19
Gen - 20
OChem - 20
Total Science - 20
AA - 19

The problem is this was already my second time taking the test and it did not improve much from the first one.. some of the sections even dropped couple points.. very disappointing..

here's my first score

PAT - 20
QR - 19
RC - 19
Bio -17
Gen - 18
OChem - 19
Total Science - 20
AA - 18

My GPA is 3.72 cum. 3.6 science
should i consider retaking the test again.. for the third time?
Plus im an reapplicant! 🙁

You are fine, in my opinion. I think your 17 in bio last time prolly hurt you a lot. Your QR this time isnt great but theres definitely a trend on here, me included, of a low QR score and if you see it on here, with the best people applying, theres definitely the same trend with all the non-SDNers. Im kind of surprised you didnt get in with your gpa and previous scores. How many schools did you apply to? Did you have interviews? Did you not do well in your interviews or personal statement?

I got nearly identical scores to your new scores except for a 16 on QR and a 22 on OC and I am not retaking it. If its ok that I ask, did you recieve any interviews with your previous DAT scores on your previous cycle?

I had one interview. But I applied really late (i think it was end of august?) so i think that was my main reason why i did not get more interviews. I'm sending my applications in tomorrow though. hopefully i will be able to get more interview this time.

No, I wouldn't retake it if I were you. You improved compared to your first test which is great! And your GPA is also great. Good luck! But you will be more than fine, don't stress. I would only say re-take if you scored below a 16 in one of the sections, because I know some schools have a cutoff at 15.
