Hey guys,
I just took the DAT for the first time yesterday and I don't know should I retake the DAT. Here are my scores
PAT 17 (72%) 🙁
QR 20 (91%)
RC 18(53%) 🙁
Bio 21(91%)
GC 27(100%)
OC 23(97%)
TS 23(97%)
AA 22(99%)
I'm concerned about my PAT score. What do you guys think? I'm apply for 2007 entering class.
Major: Genetics
GPA: 3.55

It depends, some schools love the PAT, others dont give a ****.

I wouldnt be too worried, your scores are great overall.

sweet scores!! you are right on track.. esp with your gpa..no worries.
enjoy ..you are done!! 👍

I don't think you have anything to worry about, unless for some reason you had your heart set on only one school. Retaking it again would run the risk of lowering your score on another section

I definitely would not retake it if I were you. A 22 AA and 17 on the PAT should be good enough to get in somewhere (if not, most of your schools).

you are money. you will be fine. can you tell how you studied for gchem and qr? thanks!

I used the GMAT book and Barron book to study for the QR section. I thought it was really helpful, especially with the probability section since I haven't take math since hs. I didn't do so well on that section b/c my computer crashed in the middle of the test so I had to go back to some questions and ran out of time in the end. I was pissed, but oh well...
For GC, I just used the Kaplan book. I think for this section, you just do a lot of practice.
For bio, I don't think the Kaplan book was efficient. I had a few questions I didn't know, like types of bone in your arm, etc. wth....
