Should i send $30 to temple even though they haven't asked yet.

Hey guys i have sent in all my secondary application fees (by request or instruction) except temple. Would it be a good idea to just toss $30 their way and put my aadsas number on the check?

P.S. I"m still missing 2 LOR

I submitted aadsas on May 18 adn took the dat on june 28

I would wait for them to request the fee. Chances are they'll send it with a secondary (which you'll get as your stats are stellar) and you will submit everything to them as one complete package. And then there is the remote chance that they snub you (very, very remote) in which case you'll be out of money that would go towards a nice tank of gas. In short I wouldn't try to sidestep any of their little processes and rituals.

Don't worry about the LOR's if they have already been sent to AADSAS. All of mine were finally mailed out last week after much blood, sweat, and tears.

OOOhhhhh. Man, that's gonna take some time to get them out. AADSAS held each of mine for at least four to six weeks before blessing them and sending them on their way. Have you been in touch with your recommendors? If not, then now is the time to send some polite messages subtly reminding them of their agreement.

You know you can have the evaluator send the LOR directly to each school right? That would cut out some serious time. I think the directions just state that the evaluator must sign over the evelope seal.

I've repeatedly remineded these people. Both got all necessary information on MAY 21. I've reminded each 6 times at least and every time they say oh this week for sure, or i'm working on it.

I'm beginning to think this is going to prevent me from gettign accepted 🙁

Stalking always worked for me! Seriously though, I had one recommender that was the same way. Fortunately his office was next to the library so I'd stop in all the time and say something along the lines of "Hey! How's your eBay sales goin'? My letter?" I suppose the only thing you can do at this point is either keep reminding them or get other recommenders. If you do the latter take care not to phrase the favor as "My other professor is dragging his/her feet and I need someone to..." Not doing so will discount thier perceived value and make them feel second best. You'll get in!

If I were you, I would just ask someone else for the LOR. It doesn't take that long to write a one page letter. if they haven't done so, chances are they won't finish anytime soon.

I asked a lady at my volunteer place for a letter. she nicely agreed. and she told me she sent it out, however, interfolio never received. so I gave her an express mail envelop (O, MY $15), and she kept on telling me she did not save the first letter ( how impossible is that) and no time to write another one anytime soon. so far, it has been 3 month since I gave her the express envelop. so I asked another prof. for a letter, SHe finished it in ONE week 😍

Yeah only problem is i really want these LOR. They are from the perfect people (one is a dentist i shadowed). I figured this letter would help immenesly. 🙁
