I am applying this cycle, but I am debating whether I should take the January MCAT. My school has a 6 week break for Xmas. Of course I would study all this semester and then do a last ditch effort right before it. I got a 25 this past april (7VR, 9PS, 9BS), and applied to a wide variety of schools. This retake would be of course for the next application cycle. What do you think?

what is the rest of your app like?

what is the rest of your app like?

Strong LOR's
Good extracurriculars (clinical, lots research, leader in AMSA (VP, P))
decent grades
3.35 Science (3.79 post-bacc)
3.18 Overall

I think you could get in with a 25....especially since you're applying to many schools.

and, if you want to retake - many schools will consider your january MCAT for this cycle as long as you already have one under your belt!
