Should I stil do anesthesia?

Is life as an anesthesia attending in private pracice very boring? I tend to get bored easily. Will this be a problem? Seriously...

considering we monitor vitals most of the time on stable patients and make minor adjustments here and there for hours and hours some may consider that boring. I did find it boring as astudent then i did a residency and didnt find it boring... now that im out i consider it boring.. BUT thats a good thing in this field

Getting bored as an attending is not unique to anesthesia- happens in all specialties.

I prefer to be bored than to fill out preauthorization forms for simple meds (preauth for Citalopram? come on!) or disability forms for patients who are healthier and younger than me (Denied). Looking forward to CA1 in July! In anesthesia, I bet you're only bored if you know everything, or know nothing.
