my school doesnt have a neuro rotation during third year and i was wondering if it would be smart to sit for the neuro shelf by the end of the year?

I have the same question, just started 4th year with no 3rd-year neuro clerkship at my school. I'm going to do a month of neuro 4th year, and I think I can get a couple of neurologist attendings to write LoRs, but I don't know if I need to take the shelf or not.
