Hi there,
I am currently in a Phd program and considering about applying to dental school after graduation. As an international student, I am wondering if dental school accept the courses I finished in my home country. Additionally, I have taken a lot of advanced courses like biochemistry, cell biology, immunology during my Phd study, do they help?
Thanks!

If you are planning to apply fro the 2/3 yr advanced standing program, I am pretty sure that u will need to have a dental degree from a foreign country. As part-1 is a requirement and to give that you will need evaluation from ECE/WES and that is based on your scores in anatomy, physio etc..
Or if u are looking to apply for 4 yr DDS program, you will need to take DAT and u may need to chk thecriteria for that.GL

Thank you, snigdha.
I am trying 4 yr DDS program. I will contact the school of interest to dig out more information. Is community college a good place to take these courses?
