I got a 205 on my usmle step 1 and a 550 on comlex. I am hoping to apply for EM and I want to know if it is even worth a try to apply allopathic with that score.
Do you think if I took step 2 and did significantly better that will make a difference or should I just stick with taking comlexII and applying DO?

Yes it is worth applying to both.

I doubt step 2 would alter your application to allopathic programs.

I would just take level 2.
