Should I take the earlier interview or one 15 days later?

Hi all, I was fortunate enough to receive an interview invite to one of my in state schools that I am really excited for. I have the option to schedule it in late January or early February and I was wondering if it was worth it to do the earlier date. Obviously I know the earlier my interview is, the better it is but with a gap of 15 days, I'm not sure whether that will be a big factor. I want to do my interview in late January but I will be coming back from a weekend trip, and I have work the few days before the trip. I would just have to plan my interview prep accordingly and do the interview the day after I get back. Or I can choose it for the early Feb date, which gives me some time. What would you guys do? Sorry if convoluted.

TLDR; Should I choose early or later interview, which is 15 days apart. Going on a trip before the interview if in the earlier date, and I'm not sure I'd be 100%.

I would do the earlier one. The earlier the more positions possible.

Rolling admissions. Is it in person? Take the earlier date unless you anticipate losing your voice or getting sick from your trip... in which case you can ask to delay to your backup date.
