I had a conduct violation in my sophomore year of college (2017) and so I selected "Yes" on the AMCAS and AACOMAS app for the institutional action question and wrote my explanation. I reached out to the Dean of Students from my undergrad to request the official statement as a part of my secondary app for two schools and was told that they no longer have a disciplinary record for me because they only keep those records for seven years. Aside from the schools that request this info as a part of the secondary, should I send an update to the other schools I have applied to informing them that my undergrad does not have a record of this incident?
