I went to a CC and got my AA than I transferred to a private university. I am a junior and my 1st semester is this fall! I hate this university I wanted to go to NYU (undergraduate) but got rejected. (I think I got rejected because I only had 1 LOR) Should I apply again? Would it be a waste of time? (I think so, but then again, its my dream school). I am undeclared and taking bio & chem this semester. I had planned on being a middle easter studies or pre-professional dental major if I had gone to NYU. So should I transfer now? again? (I just went on nyu and my old application is still there, so I'd only have to get recommendations). TIA! 🙂

Why don't you just try out a couple semesters at the private university you are going to, and see if you like it or not. And if you are still adament to go to NYU then apply again.

uhh keep in mind that transferring would most likely further delay your graduation since not all credits transfer and the diff graduation reqs. What is your ultimate goal? To go to NYU? Or dental school? I'm sure its the latter, so just get your dental pre reqs done and apply, don't add another unnecessary step in reaching your ultimate goal.

xiphoidprocess, I would try that out but I am a junior and havent taken any of my pre-req! 🙁
reallycutegirl, I know its going to delay it, its already delayed, I am supposed to graduate in may 2011, but either way i wont graduate on time because i havent taken any of my pre-req. But I got my AA and they accepted all of my credits. I'll have to do another year. But it wont delay it anymore.
