Man! All that suffering and no score increase. What an embarrassment. Rather, 2 scores decreased and 1 increased. This is what I get for studying for the MCAT during the school year.

Anyway, I need opinions about this score change:
VR: 11 --> 10
PS: 10 --> 9
BS: 10 --> 11
WS: S --> S
Total: 31S--> 30S
EPIC fail...

What a waste of time and money and MY LIFE.
Should have considered it more carefully...retaking a solid score. Just an advice to you all out there considering a retake...

Lastly, where can I find out whether the schools consider the best scores or the most recent scores?

(I shall never be compensated for all of the suffering and pain induced by 2x MCAT studying)

I don't think it could hurt you that much. However, I do think you got bad advice from your parents/friends, or more likely from people on SDN, where anything <32 is considered inferior (aka you got SDNed).

You're gonna get in somewhere, remain calm.

Thanks for breathing some hope into me.
I am just worried that I have proven myself to be mediocre with my 2 mediocre MCAT scores.:boom:

Dude, anything over 30 is not mediocre. A 31 puts you in the 80.5-85th percentile, and last time I checked that isn't mediocre. Don't let anyone tell you that your score isn't that good. You messed up, but it's not the end of the world. I've read stories of people who cheated on tests, got DUI's, etc., and their chances of becoming doctors are in serious jeopardy. Apply with confidence.
