I was wondering if those who took the DAT just compiled the formulas needed into one sheet and wrote them during the 15 minute tutorial?

If not, whats the best approach to remembering all these formulas?

I didn't have to remember many formulas... You know, basic PV=nRT, Pi=MRT, specific heat, acid base etc. there are some calculations but mainly conceptual

pH= Pka + log ((salt)/acid)

delta G = -nFECell

delta G = -RT ln Keq

E cell = E cell - (Rt/nF) lnQ (Nerst equation)

Spontaneous when Ecell > 0, delta G < 0, q>K

work = -p*deltaV

EMF = Ereduced + Eoxidized

These are all I got, and if you think it is not enough

i didn't have to know a single formula besides PV=nRT for my gen chem.

These are all I had to know...

osmotic pressure = MRTi

pH= Pka + log [A-]/[HA]

BP elevation/FP depression = kmi

PM=dRT (PV=nRT when given density)

EMF = Ereduced + Eoxidized
