Showing up at Prometric early for USMLE/COMLEX

Anyone show up before their scheduled time for USMLE or COMLEX? My Comlex Level II CE is scheduled for 10:30am (only available time). All of my other USMLE's/COMLEX's have been at 7 or 8am. I would rather not test until 8 at night.

Planning on just showing up at 8am or so and seeing if they'll let me take it, but I was wondering if any of you guys had tried that move.

You're probably scheduled then because someone taking a shorter test is scheduled before you. And I think the computers are pre-assigned with your specific test, so if you show up and the computer you're supposed to test on is in use then you'll have a nice long day at Prometrix

Take less break time, skip the tutorial, finish 5-15 minutes early on each section, and you'll finish an hour early.

You could show up 20-30 minutes early and have a good shot at a free computer I guess, but even that might not be a sure thing and any earlier just sounds unhelpful. I started at 8am and finished by 2:30, even going at a moderate speed and taking a few short breaks, so starting at 10:30 should finish you no later than early evening.
