Aside from Spanish, is sign language useful to learn? Do child psychiatrists work with a lot of deaf patients?

I know sign language as well as i know spanish - not fluently. But i have had some deaf patients come in with family members and they are thrilled i know the letters and make an effort to communicate with them!

I've had deaf patients. The only words I know are "dog" and "cat". Not terribly useful, but fortunately my employer provides interpreters.
Well, this could make for some interesting conversation.

"Dog?"

"Cat."

"Dog dog."

"Dog cat cat. Cat?"

"Cat dog, dog."

Then refill the Celexa and follow-up in 3 months. Bill for IPT.
