how long does it take for you to sign up and get set up for the test? I am planning to take the test at the end of july, but I don't know when I should start to sign up. any help.

You can make an appointment anytime this week and take it next week, but you have to check with the local prometric centers to see what days (in July) are available. You might wanna do that now if you have a particular day and time in mind since they do fill up fast. (you can always reschedule)
