significance of pre-Dec 1 interview

What would you say is the significance of a pre dec 1st interview? Basically im just curious what it means as far as your likelihood of being accepted...it seems that there are quite of people interviewing before the early acceptance. Is this a distinct advantage? what would be a reason for rejection if you were invited pre dec 1st? Other than totally acting like a knob job in the interview of course...good luck everyone!

Some schools probably don't interview much past Dec 1, so many students that interviewed prior to Dec 1 don't get accepted. There are only so many seats, and schools typically interview 6-7 applicants per each seat.
