Sildenafil should be taken one hour before sexual activity. This is what BNF says. But I see 12 hours before, from time to time on prescriptions. Anybody can say anything about this issue?

you don't necessary have to take it an hour before sexual activity but you still need to take it within its duration of action which is around 4 hours or the drug is useless.

I can see why cialis can be taken 12 hours before any sexual activity because its much longer duration of action but not viagra.

Are you sure the scripts don't say 1-2 hours before?
