I did Simpli5 when I lived in South Carolina. My orthodontist said that it was developed by dentists, whereas Invisalign was a product of Madison Avenue, with the dentists just doing the dirty work.

Well, I moved to Hawaii, and I didn't keep up with wearing my aligners. Part of that was, although my teeth were straightened, my mandible did not fit into my maxilla!

So, I need to find someone that does Simpli5. Is there any easy way, or is it just cold-call and ask?

Invisalign is a product of some Stanford MBAs and venture capital.

You could call the lab that makes Simpli5 (AOA) and see if they could refer you to a practitioner in your area that has used the product. Otherwise call some orthodontists and ask if they use Simpli5 or an Invisalign alternative. There are other regular dental and ortho labs that make a product similar to Simpli5.

However, the company that owns AOA, Ormco, also now just acquired Invisalign after winning some patent infringement lawsuit over them. I hope this doesn't mean the death of Simpli5.
