You have to factor out (2^3)
so in the numerator you have (2^3)^5
first part of the denominator is (2^3)^3
second part is (2^2)^3 which can be rewritten as (2^3)^2
okay now I'm going to substitute x for (2^3) to make the format more legible
so now you have x^5/(x^3 + x^2), you can factor out and cancel x^2 which gives you x^3/(x + 1)
so that is (2^3)^3/(2^3 + 1) = 8^3/(8+1) = 512/9
9 is not divisible by 2, and 512 is not divisible by 3 (5 + 1 + 2 = 8) so it looks it's like been totally reduced, if the answers are in mixed numbers then you have another step to go
