Single-hospital program?

what do u guys think about programs where the rotations are done entirely at one hospital vs programs where they have to go to multiple sites? any advantages to either types of programs?

The main advantages of a "single hospital" program that the residents have expressed is that you only have to learn one EMR, have one set of nurses get used to you, and all the residents are "together" in one place so you don't feel as spread out. They also aren't trying to drive between hospitals and see patients at multiple locations (and manage multiple locations when on home call). I think if you takes those advantages you can see the possible disadvantages of a "single hospital" program. If you have multiple hospitals then you learn different systems and you get a better feel as to what it might be like in real life (where you will likely not only have patients at one hospital).
