Hello,

Are any of you single parents with children under the age of 5?
Any advice for making it all work?

Thank you!

I'm not, but I would advise you to check with your school. Many college level institutions have well established programs that provide great support services for students with children.

Children under five are unpredictable. YOu have to mentally prepare your kids, tell them that you need to study, and they should cooperate. Then, you get them excited with their own education. So, they would busy work on their math and english books instead of bugging you.
But however, you'll need to spend time with your kids a lot in the weekend.
But never let anything or anyone discourages you from going to dental school. You may even ask for permission to do a five yr program instead of four year.
And I suggest that you try to get into your cheap state school. It will help greatly.
Best of luck
