SIU anyone?

Anyone hear anything from SIU? I just got an email today that my AADSAS was received and no further information is required. My aadsas was mailed end of july and I mailed my supplementary info at the same time. Hopefully they start sending invites soon!

I applied to SIU, but I still have no received any information regarding and supplement application or fee.

Did SIU email you with any supplement information? If so was it an app, or just a fee?

I have not heard directly from SIU, but my AADSAS application states "Received/Under Review."

Regarding the supplemental application...according to ADEA:

Special information from this dental school:
Send these materials directly to the dental schools At the Same Time you send AADSAS materials:

• Application fee $20 (send check/money to Southern Illinois University (SIU/SDM) admissions with applicant’s name)
• Official DAT scores
• Supplemental application
• Technical Standards Form from our website: www.siue.edu/dentalmedicine

After they got my supplemental, they sent me an email asking me to prove my citizenship. I'm not really sure why. I hope it's not because I have a foreign sounding name. Did y'all get it also?

Nope. They did not ask for proof of citizenship. Like I said, I have not heard from them at all. Not even a email stating they received my app. They cashed my check within days of sending it and on 8/19 they updated my AADSAS app. I hope to hear directly from them soon!

How long was it after they cashed your check before your AADSAS was updated? when did you e-submit?
