Did you give your mailperson their Christmas cash? If not, they might be keeping your letter in the mail truck and laughing their way to your mailbox every day.

You don't have to make a new thread every couple days about this. Just go post in your old thread and it will get bumped to the top of the list.

After thinking long and hard...I decided on UIC (my spot has already become available as of ~1 month ago). However, I think SIUE will have a great program and many of their classes sound very interesting (not to mention, many if not all will be accessable via the net). Of course there will be some kinks to work out but it's neat to think the these first four classes will help to shape a curricula. The people there are also incredibly friendly and approachable. Best of luck...to those who could have been my classmates :luck:

I just have a quick question, what made many of you decide to attend a non-ACPE accredited school such as SIU. I would like to note however that: Graduates of a class designated as having Candidate status have the same rights and privileges as those who graduate from a fully accredited program. ACPE conveys its decision to the various boards of pharmacy and makes recommendation in accord with its decisions. It should be noted, however, that decisions concerning eligibility for licensure, by examination or reciprocity, reside with the respective state boards of pharmacy in accordance with their state statutes and administrative rules.

because it will be. ACPE has been there several time and has a hand in (so to speak) guiding the new program. I don't think there will be any problems unless most of the class can't pass the NAPLEX. We'll see!!
