For SIU med school they have some regional prefrences. A lot of ppl claim that it is very hard to get into siu if they live in the north side of illinois. Does anyone know if that's the case with Dental school?

Both SIU's med school and dental school show prefrence for students from Southern Illinois. It's part of their mission. If you are from Chicago, you can still get in. If that's what you are asking. Their basketball team is legit, too.... 16-2 (soon to be a top 25 team).
