geez.
i just took the picture, and somehow i thought they want 3x3.
but they actually requires 2X2
does it matter.....???😡

i know some schools take that photo and tape it to your interview packet that the ADCOM looks at. if your picture is too big it may overlap some of the other things that may be on their pages such as some words etc. a cheap alternative is to take pictures of yourself using a digital camera then crop it to the desired sizes. load those pics onto a USB thumbdrive and take it to walgreens/CVS to print them out.

that is what i did and i had no issues whatsoever with my pictures and received interviews last cycle. its fairly cheap also.

2X2 preferred/recommended/ required

I am guessing you paid to take your passport picture? Why don't you re-take it by yourself?

My friend took a picture of me w/ digi cam & I paid 9 cents for the processing fee. Make sure you take the picture in a bright setting (ex: bathroom w/ all the lights turned on).

I used this site to do it: 😍

i doubt it matters. its not like their gonna take out their measuring tape and measure. 3x3 is close enough. all they want is to see your pretty little face. just make sure it looks professional.

I had gaduation photos taken, and i just saved it to a word document, cropped it to 2x2 and then printed it color and cut of the rest of the paper. I have only sent that to one school (pitt) so far and its like my 14th choice so im not worried, but is that a problem. Is it worth it for me to invest the time to go get it done professionally. I have passport photos but i need them for my passport lol. What do you guys think??

No, you don't have to actually get them done professionally, just make it look professional. After all they are using the photo to judge what kind of person you are. First impressions are always important. I just got dolled up (from the waist up) and had a friend take a few head shots of me at my house against a white background with a digital camera and printed it out at one of those kodak photo booths.

i would at least wear a button down dress shirt or collared shirt....maybe even a tie. I mean it would take you what, 2 minutes to put that on? you don't want to send in a picture with a wife-beater on! but no need to go to a studio to have pictures taken. digi-cam, then print out on computer or walgreens will suffice
