I know the general thought about surgeons skills rotting away from underutalization and lack of varied case loads. What about anesthegiologist? Are gas docs at risk of skill atrophy?

The crappyer the surgeons are....the better the anesthesiologists have to be.

So I assume that there is not relearning period when one drops the uniform and starts wearing a shirt and tie. I would even go as far as to assuem the same for pain med. Do you concure?
