so i applied last year foolishly and didnt get in. I decided my app needs work so i am doing post bacc work this year and applying next year. So I am skipping this cycle. Is it wierd to apply one year then skip one then apply again?
I don't think it's wierd depending on what you do. If you take the two years inbetween and make dramatic improvments to your overall application then it will look respectable. Do your best to raise ur gpa if it's low and possible retake your dat. Additionally you can try to gain some more shadowing experience if possible. I thnk you should be fine if you show dental schools you are committed and improve your overall application.
