I have been skipping the gchem section on all my practice tests because I ran out of time in orgo on the first one I took. It's not really a time thing anymore but it helps keep me calm when Im doing gchem and I can think sweet 40 minutes for 30 questions vs getting to orgo and going **** 20 minutes left :scared:.

Do you think thats a bad idea? Also if I press next at question 100 does it bring a up a list so i can just click on problem 40 like on topscore and achiever.

So long as you aren't getting squeezed for G-chem time wise do as you please.

I actually started the same way since I wanted to peacefully do G-Chem with 40-50 mintues to spare since I'd almost always speed through O-Chem and Bio. G-chem is more calculation heavy so it took me the most time (esp. on Achiever).

For what its worth, the real DAT went much quicker for me than any practice test. I think its a combination of it being simpler and being really locked in on test day. I don't think you will be too stressed for time on the science section on the real test day.

i think you only waste more time clicking next 30 times to "save" your self some time...
I think instead of doing that go over gchem, especially the sections your weak on, get it down solid and u end up saving urself time that way instead...
also, gchem on the real DAT is pretty easy compared to a lot of the practice tests but dont underestimate it.

I agree.

During my DAT I took my time during gen chem, and didn't have too much time left for orgo. I was pretty stressed at this point, but orgo flew by in no time, I was doing the orgo questions thinking to myself 'this is so easy'. So don't stress to much about time. Keep studying/practicing.

I am going to skip over it tomorrow. I haven't ran out of time on any test except for my very first test and it was achiever. I get through BIO and Orgo in like 40-50 minutes. I just don't want to be rushed when I am doing math in gchem and make a stupid mistake. Ill save all the math mistakes for QR. Plus I have been doing it this way the whole time why change it now
