So,now that a number of you have been accepted, do you find yourself slacking off your last semester?

the 79 I just got on my biochem II exam
There are times I wished I got that high (mostly in biochem I). Gotta love going to a school where they shoot for means of 60 on the exams.
i took a red eye back from my davis interview last night, getting back to school at 10am. having studied zero the last 6 days while i've been in california (compounded with the fact that i haven't slept since sunday), i'm pretty sure this biochem test i'm headed up to take right now will be my worst grade in college...unless the a&p exam i have on friday beats it 🙂 yay senioritis.
I actually got asked today by my favorite professor (and one of my two A's this midterm) whether I had a bad case of "senioritis" LOL. OK, I still want to do well in physics, because it's a pre-req., but I really don't care about P-chem and inorganic. I will not be using this information anytime soon (read: in this life), so I'm really rooting for B's in those two classes. It's not because I'm lazy, it's because each of them requires 10++ hours of studying every week, and I just don't have that much time to devote to classes that will be no use to me in vet. school.
I hate to inform you but our first course was physiological chemistry. It might be different at other schools but I don't think you've seen the last of p-chem.
LOL. Yes, I was referring to physical chemistry--which is mostly quantum and kinetics (this semester). If that's part of vet. school, I don't know how I'm ever gonna become a vet.😀 or most "normal" people for that matter😀
P.S. I don't hold it against you, I forgot to decode it for non-chem majors 😀
For those of you who are working, when will you quit? Are you taking some time off in the summer before starting vet school? I'm thinking of taking the month of August off to just relax - no work, no volunteering, no school ...

Who has a 12-page paper due tomorrow at 8am that she hasn't even started yet? I do, I do!! But first, lunch! 😉
Haha! Nice! I like Biochem (as ridiculously hard as it is), but I SO wish I could drop physics. I want to gag just thinking about it. Blah.I'm totally dropping the Biochem II class that I only needed for A&M. What a relief! The class itself was actually interesting, but the professor...couldn't take any more and now I don't have to! Neener neener! 😛
Rock on! I totally have a presentation of my senior thesis (supposed to be 20 pages) in two weeks and I have....a really rough outline of my future paper that I haven't looked at in a week! Hooray!

I'm moving from California to Kansas during the last week of July...
Haha, that probably isn't the best idea for everyone! I'm glad you're enjoying the time before vet school, though.this probably isn't the best thing to say, but since being accepted...i have NEVER partied so much in my life....I am ABSOLUTELY loving it...and my grades aren't suffering, thank goodness: I am taking 13 credit hours - calculus II, organic II, history, and personal finance. Frankly, I find myself bored most of the time...I like to learn and it is weird not having to push myself, nice, but a strange feeling overall.
