SLU MD/PhD?

Has anyone out there had experience with the SLU MD/PhD program? I don't know much about the academic environment, but I applied because of my research interests. I have read as much as I can find on the web about it, but some personal impressions would be helpful.

I am so financially strained, I am deciding if it is worth my while to interview there when I already have one acceptance.
