Comparison between schools

Hi all. I've been lucky enough to have a few acceptances, and I need help deciding between these three schools. Financial aid will be a huge factor in determining which school I choose to attend.
I would like to attend a school with true P/F and I am interested in Optho and possibly ENT.

Saint Louis University

PROS

  • new hospital building, will be up when I am an M2
  • True pass/fail
  • New systems based curriculum
  • Great opportunities for serving community
  • BBQ scene here is amazing
  • big park
  • has a good(?) optho program

CONS
  • tuition: 55k/yr;
  • city can be dangerous

Wright State University

PROS

  • cheap tuition (instate): 33k/yr
  • close to family
  • rly good vibes on interview day - I liked all the med students I talked to, and the dean was really nice

CONS
  • reputation as a “primary care” school
  • weak research
  • mandatory attendance PBL/TBL ??? (no traditional lectures)
  • area (Dayton) is not the most fun
  • no optho

Drexel University

PROS

  • Philly (amazing city with awesome food, lots of other grad students, fun things to do 😀)
  • no mandatory lectures
  • students were nice and seemed happy, talked to us interviewees even tho they weren’t part of tour group
  • Constantly updating curriculum, seems to me they care about providing the best education possible (may be a con, idk)
  • Has an optho dept.

CONS
  • Tuition 86k/yr (holy.)
  • Med school is completely separate from undergrad?

Einstein (If i am accepted- decision pending)

PROS
  • loveeeeeed interview day. Everyone was so friendly.
  • Campus is beautiful and surprisingly green
  • Amazing research opportunities
  • non mandatory lectures
  • Has an optho dept
  • TRUE PASS FAIL
  • close to NYC (lots of stuff to do + good food)
CONS
  • Tuition (55k)
  • city noise/air pollution
  • no local snowboard resorts

Ranking wise.

If you dont get into einstein all the other schools are similar in ranking , but you need the optho department and research at that level of ranking to match. SO that makes boon a hard pass. The tuition difference is minimal in the grand scheme of things between slu and boonshoft.
